Job Summary
The Production Planning Engineer will be responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating production activities within the HVAC coil manufacturing facility to ensure timely delivery, optimal resource utilization, and efficient production flow. The role requires close coordination with production, procurement, quality, and sales teams to meet customer demand and production targets.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain
production plans and schedules
based on sales orders and forecast.

Monitor
daily production activities
and ensure adherence to production timelines.

Coordinate with
procurement and warehouse teams
to ensure availability of raw materials such as copper tubes, aluminum fins, headers, and other coil components.

Optimize
production capacity, manpower utilization, and machine loading
.

Prepare and monitor
production reports, work orders, and progress tracking
.

Coordinate with the
manufacturing team
to resolve production bottlenecks.

Ensure smooth workflow between
coil fabrication, fin press, tube expansion, brazing, and assembly processes
.

Work closely with
quality control
to maintain product standards and reduce production defects.

Analyze production data and recommend improvements to increase efficiency and reduce lead time.

Support
inventory control and material planning
to avoid shortages or excess stock.

Participate in
continuous improvement initiatives
to enhance production performance.
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in
Mechanical Engineering / Industrial Engineering
or related field.

7–10 years of experience
in production planning within an
HVAC coil or heat exchanger manufacturing facility
.

Strong knowledge of
coil manufacturing processes (fin press, tube expansion, brazing, leak testing, and assembly)
.

Experience with
ERP systems and production planning tools
.

Good understanding of
production scheduling, capacity planning, and inventory management
.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and coordination skills.

Ability to work in a
fast-paced manufacturing environment
.
Preferred Skills

Knowledge of
HVAC heat exchanger design and manufacturing standards

lean manufacturing or production optimization
