Position: Production Plant Head – Hydrogen Plant
Experience: 18+ Years (in Hydrogen Plant / Production / Operations Management)
Location: Bachau, Kutch, Gujarat
Salary: As per experience (CTC + Performance Bonus + Benefits)

Key Responsibilities

1. Plant Operations Management

• Lead overall plant operations including Production, Utilities, Maintenance, and Quality.
• Ensure smooth Hydrogen generation (Electrolyzer / SMR / other technologies) with optimal efficiency and output.
• Maintain production targets with focus on cost, quality, and safety.

2. Safety, Environment & Compliance

• Ensure strict compliance with HSE, statutory, and environmental regulations.
• Implement and monitor plant safety standards (OSHA, ISO, etc.).

3. Performance Monitoring & Process Optimization

• Track KPIs such as yield, downtime, energy utilization, production output, and efficiency.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives and cost optimization strategies.

4. Leadership & Team Management

• Lead a multidisciplinary team across Production, Maintenance, Quality, and Safety.
• Conduct team training, motivation, performance appraisals, and skill development.

5. Production Planning & Coordination

• Prepare and execute daily/monthly production plans.
• Coordinate with logistics, supply chain, and procurement to ensure material availability.
• Handle process troubleshooting and ensure minimal downtime.

6. Budgeting & Cost Control

• Prepare and monitor the annual production budget.
• Control operational costs without compromising on safety or quality.

7. Technology & Innovation

• Drive adoption of modern hydrogen generation technologies (PEM, Alkaline, SMR).
• Support automation, process digitalization, and R&D for process improvement.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education: B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech – Chemical, Mechanical, or Process Engineering
• In-depth knowledge of Hydrogen Generation Technologies (Electrolyzer, SMR, PEM, Alkaline, etc.)
• Proven experience in plant operations, project execution, and team leadership
• Strong grasp of Safety, Quality, and Cost Management principles
• Excellent communication, analytical, and decision-making skills
