Production Supervisor

· Devise comprehensive production schedules in alignment with the overarching production plan. Efficiently allocate human, material, and equipment resources. Continuously monitor production progress, promptly identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or issues to ensure strict adherence to production timelines.

· Institute and enforce robust quality control protocols throughout the production process. Conduct regular and meticulous inspections at various production stages. Analyze quality data with precision to identify trends and root causes of quality deviations. Implement effective corrective and preventive actions in a timely manner. Collaborate closely with the quality assurance department to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.

· Provide astute supervision and dynamic leadership to the production team. Design and conduct regular training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of team members. Prudently assign tasks based on individual capabilities and production requirements. Conduct periodic and fair performance evaluations, offering constructive feedback and implementing appropriate incentive and disciplinary measures. Foster a harmonious and collaborative team environment that nurtures innovation and high morale.

· Ensure seamless operation and meticulous maintenance of production equipment. Coordinate proactively with the maintenance department to schedule preventive maintenance and timely repairs. Rigorously monitor equipment performance metrics and implement strategies to optimize equipment utilization and lifespan. Manage the production facility with an emphasis on cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

· Conduct in-depth analysis of production costs, identifying opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality. Implement lean manufacturing principles and process optimization strategies to enhance resource efficiency. Prepare and meticulously manage the production budget, closely monitoring and controlling costs to ensure financial targets are met.

· Develop and enforce stringent safety policies and procedures. Conduct regular safety audits and comprehensive training sessions to increase safety awareness among employees. Ensure strict compliance with all environmental regulations and actively promote sustainable production practices. Swiftly investigate and report any safety incidents or environmental non-compliance issues, implementing corrective actions to prevent recurrence.

· Spearhead initiatives to identify areas for process optimization and productivity enhancement. Implement process improvement projects using industry best practices and data-driven decision-making. Encourage and support a culture of innovation and continuous learning among team members, keeping abreast of the latest technological advancements and industry trends.

Requirements:

Education:

· Bachelor's degree in engineering, production management, or a related field.

Experience:

· A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in production supervision or a closely related role.

· Proven track record in a manufacturing environment, preferably within the FMCG or tobacco industry.

· Demonstrated success in achieving production targets and implementing impactful production efficiency improvements.
