Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and hands-on Production Supervisor to oversee daily operations in our printing and packaging facility. The role involves supervising production teams, ensuring machines run efficiently, meeting daily targets, and maintaining strict quality standards.

The ideal candidate must have strong experience in offset printing and packaging production workflows.

Key Responsibilities

Production Management

• Plan and supervise daily production schedules

• Allocate jobs across printing, die-cutting, and finishing machines

• Monitor machine efficiency and reduce downtime

• Ensure production targets are achieved on time

Team Supervision

• Supervise machine operators and helpers

• Train and guide staff on quality and safety standards

• Enforce discipline and productivity

• Monitor attendance and performance

Quality Control

• Ensure correct color registration and print quality

• Minimize wastage and production errors

• Approve first print samples before full production

• Coordinate with pre-press to resolve technical issues

Operations Coordination

• Coordinate with storekeeper for material availability

• Ensure correct paper, board, and dies are ready before production

• Report daily output, machine hours, and wastage

• Communicate with sales/management regarding job status

Maintenance & Safety

• Ensure basic machine maintenance is followed

• Report technical issues immediately

• Maintain safety and cleanliness in production area
