About the job

Cutting tool manufacturing facility in Bursa is looking for a Production & Supply Chain Planner to join our team. The role will focus on production planning, material flow coordination, subcontractor management, and supporting efficient supply chain operations.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain production plans in line with customer demand and capacity constraints
• Coordinate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow
• Monitor production progress and order fulfilment and take corrective actions when necessary
• Manage inventory levels of raw materials, semi-finished, and finished goods
• Support capacity planning and workload balancing across production areas
• Ensure accurate master data and planning parameters in ERP systems
• Coordinate and manage subcontractor operations when required
• Support purchasing activities related to production materials and services
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in planning and supply chain processes
• Prepare and report planning KPIs and operational performance indicators

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Minimum 2–4 years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or logistics
• Preferably experienced in manufacturing environments (machining / cutting tools experience is a plus)
• Good understanding of production planning, inventory management, and supply chain processes
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP. Strong SAP knowledge is a significant advantage
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
• Good command of English, German is considered a plus
• Advanced MS Excel / MS Office skills
• Structured, proactive, and result-oriented working style
