About the job

A problem isn’t truly solved until it’s solved for all. That’s why Googlers build products that help create opportunities for everyone, whether down the street or across the globe. As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

In this role, you are a primary architect of Google’s physical retail commercial strategy. You own the goal for how the Google ecosystem Pixel, Nest, and Fitbit is sold and experienced in our flagship and partner environments. This is a high-impact role requiring a blend of commercial acumen, operational discipline, and visionary thinking. You will lead the end-to-end strategy for business initiatives, defining the "north star" for how we drive conversion and premium customer experiences. You don't just work cross-functionally; you lead the cross-functional narrative, aligning Directors and Vice Presidents (VPs) across Product, Marketing, and Finance to ensure our retail investments drive brand and sustainable business growth.

Google's mission is to organize the world's information and make it universally accessible and useful. Our Devices & Services team combines the best of Google AI, Software, and Hardware to create radically helpful experiences for users. We research, design, and develop new technologies and hardware to make our user's interaction with computing faster, seamless, and more powerful. Whether finding new ways to capture and sense the world around us, advancing form factors, or improving interaction methods, the Devices & Services team is making people's lives better through technology.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $147,000-$216,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. • Design incentive structures and commercial levers that drive attach rate and conversion goals. You own the Return on Investment (ROI) of your programs and are responsible for business-critical Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Act as the lead for New Product Introductions (NPI). You are responsible for the global retail "Concept-to-Consumer" framework, ensuring consistent and scalable launches.
  • Influence product roadmaps by providing the retail customer to engineering and product teams. You ensure that our hardware is built with retail "promote-through" in mind.
  • Identify systemic inefficiencies in the retail life-cycle and build scalable, automated solutions to improve the speed-to-market for all retail initiatives.
