Key Responsibilities:
Group Mentoring:
- Manage and facilitate four groups, each supporting up to four youth.
- Coordinate sessions after school during the school year and daytime during the summer.
- Ensure sessions are engaging, structured, and aligned with organizational goals.
School-Based Programming:
- Oversee mentoring programs at three local schools.
- Coordinate with school staff to maintain consistent delivery and student engagement.
Match Support & Case Management:
- Maintain a caseload of active matches.
- Conduct regular support calls with mentors and families to ensure healthy and productive relationships.
- Perform accurate and timely data entry and documentation.
Event Planning & Coordination:
- Co-plan match events with other team members.
- Manage RSVPs and event logistics using tools such as Google Forms.
- Assist in creating event materials and follow-up communications.
Community Collaboration:
- Partner with external agencies and community organizations to enhance programming.
- Represent the agency in community-based meetings and activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Education, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience working with youth and families in educational or social service settings.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable with data entry and basic technology tools (e.g., Google Workspace, CRM systems).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Must be available for occasional weekend events.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
