Project Architect

Fahed + Architects is an award-winning, design-led architectural practice with studios in Dubai and India. We work across hospitality, residential, and cultural projects, with a focus on creating thoughtful, context-driven spaces.

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Architect to take ownership of a large-scale hospitality and residential development.

This is a senior leadership role requiring:

• Strong design capability
• Proven experience in hospitality projects
• Ability to manage complexity across large-scale developments

You will lead the project from concept through detailed design, working closely with clients, consultants, and internal teams to ensure clarity, quality, and timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership & Ownership
• Take full ownership of design and coordination for a large-scale mixed-use development
• Drive the project across all stages from concept to detailed design
• Ensure design intent, quality, and timelines are maintained

Design Direction

• Lead concept design, spatial planning, and design development
• Develop strong design narratives and presentation material
• Guide the team in translating ideas into clear and buildable solutions

Hospitality Expertise

• Apply strong understanding of hospitality planning and guest experience
• Ensure design aligns with operational and brand requirements
• Coordinate with hospitality consultants where required

Coordination & Delivery

• Manage coordination with:
• Clients
• Consultants (MEP, structural, specialist)
• Internal teams
• Oversee drawings, models, and documentation quality
• Resolve design and coordination challenges proactively

Client Engagement

• Lead presentations and discussions with clients
• Represent the practice in key project meetings
• Translate client requirements into clear design direction

Requirements

• 10–15 years professional experience in architecture
• Strong experience in hospitality projects (essential)
• Experience handling large-scale / complex developments
• High-rise residential experience is an advantage
• Proven ability to:
• Lead projects independently
• Manage teams and consultants
• Strong client-facing and communication skills

Technical Skills Required:

• Sketching
• Rhino (design development and study models)

Preferred:

• Grasshopper
• Visualization tools (Enscape, Lumion, V-Ray)
• Revit (coordination and documentation understanding)
• Adobe Creative Suite
• AutoCAD

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED50,000.00 per month
