Project Control Executive (Technical) Fresher

The Project Control Engineer will be responsible for monitoring and reporting all aspects of project execution, ensuring accurate BOQ control, cost tracking, and timely reporting. The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and advanced proficiency in Excel for project reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and track daily project execution against approved plans, schedules, and budgets
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly project progress reports for management
• Update and maintain BOQ on a daily basis, including quantities, variations, and revisions
• Track actual vs planned quantities, costs, and timelines
• Coordinate with site engineers, planning, procurement, and billing teams for accurate data collection
• Identify deviations, delays, and cost overruns and highlight risks to the project team
• Support billing, certification, and variation analysis
• Maintain proper project documentation, logs, and dashboards
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reports and trackers

Technical & Professional Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Engineering (Civil / Mechanical / Electrical or relevant field)
• Strong understanding of construction/project execution processes
• Good knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity tracking, and measurement
• Experience in project controls, cost control, or planning preferred

Reporting & Software Skills

• Advanced Excel skills, including:
• Pivot Tables
• VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP / INDEX-MATCH
• Conditional formatting
• Charts & dashboards
• Data validation & reporting templates
• Experience with project reporting formats and MIS
• Knowledge of planning tools (Primavera / MS Project) is an advantage
