The Project Coordinator / Interior Designer will be responsible for supporting project execution from concept to completion. This role involves coordinating with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and internal teams while producing interior design concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings. The ideal candidate must have strong design skills, site coordination exposure, and the ability to handle multiple fit-out projects simultaneously.

Key Responsibilities1. Design & Documentation

  • Develop interior design concepts, mood boards, and material palettes.
  • Prepare detailed drawings: layout plans, joinery drawings, RCP, sections, elevations, and 3D visuals.
  • Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, standards, and authority requirements.
  • Revise design documents based on client feedback and project needs.

2. Project Coordination

  • Coordinate with project managers, site engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project flow.
  • Track project progress, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Schedule and attend client meetings, prepare minutes of meetings (MoM), and follow up on action points.
  • Assist in procurement by sourcing materials, samples, and negotiating with suppliers.
  • Coordinate approvals for materials, shop drawings, and mock-ups.

3. Site Support

  • Conduct site visits to verify dimensions, monitor progress, and ensure design intent is executed.
  • Identify site issues and communicate solutions to the team promptly.
  • Ensure work at site meets quality, safety, and compliance standards.

4. Client & Stakeholder Communication

  • Maintain ongoing communication with clients, consultants, and contractors.
  • Present design proposals and materials to clients for approval.
  • Ensure client expectations are met throughout all project stages.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in interior fit-out industry (retail, residential, commercial, or F&B fit-out).
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/3D Max, Photoshop, and MS Office.
  • Strong understanding of materials, joinery, and fit-out construction methods.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • UAE project experience preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month
