Develop and maintain the project's cost management plan, ensuring alignment with project goals and contractual obligations.
Establish and monitor the project's cost baseline, tracking all approved changes and their impact on the overall budget.
Perform detailed cost analysis, identifying trends, variances, and potential risks that could affect project profitability.
Prepare accurate and timely cost reports, providing insights into project performance and forecasting future costs.
Manage and control project expenditures, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and vendor management.
Conduct regular cost forecasting, predicting future costs and potential overruns to enable proactive corrective actions.
Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective cost control and communication.
Implement and utilize cost control software and tools, such as Oracle Primavera P6, to optimize project financial management.
Evaluate and analyze change orders, assessing their cost impact and negotiating with contractors to minimize financial risks.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry best practices related to cost management.
