What To Expect
With 60,000+ Superchargers, Tesla owns and operates the largest global, ultra-fast charging network in the world. Located on major routes near convenient amenities, Superchargers keep our customers charged when they are away from home. As we continue to expand our charging network, we are looking for a Project Developer to continue to develop the Supercharging network by finding and signing the best locations for our Superchargers within Türkiye and Emerging Markets. In your day-to-day activities you will work on market research, prospecting potential site hosts, pitching our proposition, negotiating, and closing deals, whilst working alongside a broad range of stakeholders to deliver projects to completion. This role requires willingness and ability to travel on a regular basis, approximately three to four days per week on average (including overnight stays).
What You'll Do
Develop and manage a pipeline of new site opportunities to host Supercharger stations serving electric vehicle drivers in the Türkiye and Emerging Markets, including Central and Eastern Europe, may be followed by South America, the Middle East, and other countries
Maintain and develop relationships with key portfolio landlords in Türkiye and Emerging Markets
Connect with potential site hosts and pitch the Supercharging proposition
Negotiate win-win solutions and close contracts to secure our strategy and goals
Ability to work through the language barriers
Work with internal legal counsel to draft, negotiate and close site host agreements
Analyse and interpret a range of data sources to inform strategy
Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to improve customer experience, cost efficiency and project timelines
Implement and optimize processes to drive efficiency and productivity
What You'll Bring
3+ years of relevant working experience in a commercial role
Autonomous and highly motivated approach to execution and achievement of 20+ projects at different stages simultaneously
Effective communication skills with the ability to persuade and influence diverse audiences
Entrepreneurial and data-driven mindset to identify and act on opportunities
Affinity with EV charging sector, renewable energy or e-mobility and a passion to learn
A valid Driver's License
Fluency in English and Turkish is required; proficiency in Spanish/Arabic/Russian is strongly preferred
