About the Role


The Member will be part of the Steam Systems Division and will be responsible for the marketing and sales of products to projects across the UAE and GCC. This role involves making customer calls, generating sales by understanding requirements, engaging with internal teams and external stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with company standards and client requirements. The Member will also drive business development initiatives and strengthen customer relationships through effective project delivery.



Responsibilities


  • Develop the customer base for Forbes Marshall products in the region through regular customer calls and structured sales activities.
  • Identify upcoming projects by leveraging industrial visits, existing customer networks, and consultant, contractor, and global OEM channels.
  • Prepare proposals in coordination with the technical team and head office.
  • Work proactively and diligently to achieve assigned sales targets and conduct regular field activities.
  • Report to the Team Lead and collaborate with colleagues to drive business growth in the region.
  • Participate in trade exhibitions and marketing initiatives to generate sales opportunities.
  • Liaise with clients, contractors, and internal teams to address technical challenges and implement effective solutions.
  • Prepare project reports, documentation, and status updates for management and clients.
  • Support procurement activities by specifying equipment and materials, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
  • Travel frequently within the UAE and GCC to engage with clients and support business development.


Qualifications


  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a closely related discipline from a recognized institution.
  • Experience: 2 to 6 years of experience in engineering, project execution, or industrial process environments, preferably with exposure to steam systems and thermal utilities.
  • Technical Expertise: Good understanding of steam systems, steam engineering, and associated process equipment (e.g., steam traps, condensate recovery systems, control valves, flow meters). Experience with industrial installations and thermal utility systems is valuable.
  • Industry Exposure: Experience in industrial or process sectors, including oil and gas, power, or manufacturing, is an advantage.
  • Travel Readiness: Comfortable traveling within the UAE and GCC countries to support projects and client engagements.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, clients, and contractors.
  • Problem Solving & Commercial Awareness: Ability to approach technical challenges thoughtfully, propose practical solutions, and understand client requirements in a constructive way.
