Project Engineer

Position Overview

This role requires strong experience in electrical works, contract/vendor management, and cross-functional coordination to ensure successful project completion and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Monitor project progress and ensure timely achievement of milestones.
• Supervise installation, commissioning, and testing of electrical systems.
• Ensure compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and industry standards.
• Review and approve technical documents (shop drawings, method statements, material submittals).
• Source, evaluate, and manage vendors and subcontractors.
• Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance.
• Oversee procurement and resolve supply chain challenges.
• Conduct project meetings and address technical or scheduling issues.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field .
• 3–5 years of proven experience in electrical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems.
• Demonstrated experience in vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiation .
• Strong organizational, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills for client and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in MS Project/Primavera, AutoCAD, and MS Office .
