Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• Planning, coordinating, and overseeing engineering projects from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
• Supporting the design, assembly, and integration of 3D printing systems, prototypes, and related technologies.
• Preparing and reviewing technical drawings, specifications, and documentation required for project execution.
• Coordinating with cross-functional teams (designers, engineers, technicians, and vendors) to ensure smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Monitoring project progress, identifying potential risks, and implementing solutions to avoid delays or quality issues.
• Assisting in testing, troubleshooting, and validating mechanical, electrical, and software components in mechatronics or 3D printing systems.
• Managing procurement activities, supplier coordination, and resource allocation for project requirements.
• Ensuring compliance with safety standards, quality control procedures, and company policies throughout project execution.
• Preparing regular project reports, updates, and presentations for management and clients.
• Researching and recommending new technologies or process improvements to enhance project efficiency and innovation.
• Contributing to creative problem-solving and supporting the integration of advanced manufacturing techniques into project workflows.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or a related engineering field.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage procurement activities and supplier coordination.
• Familiarity with 3D printing technologies, CNC machining, or prototyping.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Fusion 360, or similar).
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, and software integration in mechatronics systems.
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and monitor multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Strong understanding of engineering documentation, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Hands-on troubleshooting skills in mechanical/electrical systems with the ability to implement innovative solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, vendors, and clients.
