PROJECT ENGINEER

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Project Engineer (Construction) with over 8 years of proven expertise in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will lead complex projects, ensure compliance with safety and quality standards, and drive successful delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee planning, execution, and completion of large-scale construction projects.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery.
• Review engineering designs, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and feasibility.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and resources effectively.
• Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with Oman’s building codes, labor laws, safety regulations, and permitting requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Prepare and present progress reports to senior management and clients.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in construction project engineering.
• Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and industry standards.
• Proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects.
• Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera, AutoCAD).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver results within tight deadlines.
• In-depth knowledge of Oman’s construction laws, labor regulations, and permitting processes.
• Valid driving license (mandatory).

Preferred Skills

• Fluency in English & Hindi. Knowledge of Arabic is an added advantage.
• Certification in Project Management (PMP or equivalent).
• Experience in sustainable construction practices and green building standards.
• Familiarity with international construction codes and practices.
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
