Project Engineer (Architectural Metal & Glass)/ Interior Designer

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Execution: Manage and oversee all phases of project execution, including planning, design coordination, procurement, fabrication, installation, and handover.
  • Site Management: Supervise on-site activities, ensuring work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and safety regulations.
  • Coordination: Liaise effectively with clients, consultants, architects, main contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project flow and resolve any technical issues.
  • Technical Oversight: Review technical drawings, submittals, and material requisitions to ensure compliance with project requirements.
  • Resource Planning: Assist in preparing project schedules, forecasting manpower needs, and managing material deliveries to the site.
  • Quality & Safety: Implement strict quality control measures and ensure all site activities adhere to company and statutory safety protocols.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports, track project milestones, and maintain comprehensive project documentation.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 2-4 years of proven project engineering experience specifically in architectural metal and glass works (e.g., facades, curtain walls, balustrades, cladding, skylights) within the UAE.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting architectural and structural drawings. Strong knowledge of facade systems and materials.
  • Software Proficiency: Competent in using AutoCAD and MS Office Suite. Experience with project management software (like MS Project) is a plus.
  • Driving License: A valid UAE driving license is highly preferred.
  • Availability: Must be currently based in the UAE and available to join.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Project engineer (Architect & Glass): 2 years (Required)
