Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily on-site construction operations, ensuring activities adhere to project specifications, approved drawings, schedules, and safety regulations.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, structural/MEP engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to achieve project goals within timelines.
- Develop, track, and update project schedules using project management tools such as Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Monitor and control project costs, manage budgets, and address any deviations with corrective actions.
- Lead site teams and oversee labor deployment to maximize productivity and maintain quality standards.
- Conduct regular inspections to enforce quality control and compliance with health and safety practices.
- Handle and document project variations, change orders, and on-site technical challenges in coordination with relevant teams.
- Oversee procurement coordination, ensuring timely supply of materials, machinery, and equipment to prevent project delays.
- Maintain complete project documentation, including daily progress reports, quality assurance logs, and coordination meeting minutes.
- Ensure consistent communication with internal departments and external stakeholders for updates, challenges, and milestone achievements.
- Manage the final project handover process, including punch lists, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 10–15 years of experience in a senior construction management role, preferably within Grade A or B contracting companies.
- Must have led multiple large-scale projects including high-rise buildings and luxury villa developments.
- In-depth knowledge of civil and MEP coordination, construction sequencing, and regulatory approvals.
- Strong grasp of technical, financial, and administrative management in large construction operations.
- Proven leadership in managing large site teams (300+ staff) and dealing with multiple subcontractors and suppliers.
- Ability to establish and run a new construction department or unit independently.
- Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Proficient in construction software tools including AutoCAD, Primavera, MS Project, and Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license is mandatory.
