Project Engineer (Civil)

Job Description – Key Responsibilities

• Design Development: Create and refine detailed project designs, ensuring alignment with client requirements and industry standards.
• Feasibility Analysis: Conduct feasibility assessments and perform thorough site inspections to evaluate project viability.
• Project Planning & Costing: Prepare cost estimates, Bills of Quantities (BOQs), Bar Bending Schedules (BBS), tender documents, and detailed project schedules.
• Site Monitoring: Conduct regular site inspections and quality checks to track progress, ensure adherence to specifications, and resolve on-site issues promptly.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of materials, daily site logs, progress reports, and compliance documentation.
• Cost Estimation: Research materials, labor, and equipment costs to provide accurate and competitive project estimates.
• Regulatory Compliance: Review and ensure adherence to relevant government regulations, codes, and ordinances.
• Safety & Quality Control: Monitor and optimize safety procedures, production processes, and quality assurance measures to meet industry and company standards.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Coordinate effectively with consultants, architects, contractors, and vendors, ensuring smooth communication and collaboration.
• Problem Solving: Identify potential issues and present well-researched recommendations or alternative solutions.
• Project Management: Oversee budgets, resources, timelines, and procurement activities, including acquiring and compiling supplier quotes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (B.E. / B.Tech); Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Project Management is an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in infrastructure or construction projects, preferably within institutional, campus, or large-scale development environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other industry-standard civil engineering and project management software.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, site management practices, and civil construction codes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹242,983.86 - ₹798,713.90 per year
