An established construction firm is seeking a qualified Site Civil Engineer to oversee and manage the execution of civil works for high-rise developments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and manage on-site civil construction activities, ensuring timely execution in accordance with project milestones.
- Review engineering drawings, technical specifications, and project documentation to ensure accurate and compliant implementation of works.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, consultants, MEP engineers, and subcontractors to ensure integrated project delivery.
- Supervise daily site operations and monitor construction progress, flagging potential delays and ensuring work remains on schedule.
- Enforce strict adherence to quality assurance protocols and health & safety regulations throughout all construction phases.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of construction schedules, material and manpower plans, and progress reporting tools.
- Review and verify material submittals, ensuring timely procurement and site delivery to avoid workflow interruptions.
- Address technical or execution-related issues at site level, coordinating with internal departments or consultants for resolution.
- Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly reports, including site progress updates, manpower status, and construction metrics.
- Ensure all work complies with project specifications, local building codes, and regulatory standards.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related discipline.
- 6 to 8 years of proven experience in civil construction, with a strong focus on high-rise building projects.
- Sound knowledge of structural systems, construction practices, site supervision, and sequencing of civil works.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Primavera P6, MS Project, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and leadership capabilities with the ability to coordinate across multiple teams.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet tight deadlines.
- A valid driver’s license is an added advantage.
