Project Engineer – Rakhat Construction

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Project Engineer to support the execution and management of construction projects across the UAE. The role involves coordinating site engineering activities, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring projects are completed to quality standards, within schedule, and budget. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in managing construction site operations for large-scale developments, including high floor residential projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, coordination, and supervision of construction activities on site.
• Collaborate closely with contractors, consultants, and site teams to ensure technical compliance and quality standards.
• Monitor progress, resolve site issues, and report updates to project managers and senior engineers.
• Review construction drawings, method statements, and site instructions for accuracy and feasibility.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and company policies on site.
• Support in material management, procurement follow-up, and logistics coordination.
• Facilitate communication among stakeholders to maintain smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Assist in quality control and assurance processes throughout construction phases.
• Maintain project documentation and track change requests.
• Provide technical guidance to junior site staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role in construction, preferably within the UAE.
• Proven experience in managing site activities for high floor residential projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and local authority requirements.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Project, and relevant project management software.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use developments.
• Familiarity with construction methodologies, health and safety regulations, and quality control.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience collaborating in multidisciplinary teams and liaising with consultants and contractors.
