We require a Project Engineer - Retrofit & Replacement to manage in the planning and preparation of retrofit projects relating to heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
Responsibilities:
- Review HVAC chilled water system designs, drawings, and technical specifications
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare project schedules, method statements, material submittals, and technical documentation
- Supervise installation of chilled water systems including chillers, pumps, piping, valves, AHUs, FCUs, and DX systems.
- Ensure compliance with approved drawings, codes, standards, and project specifications
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and system performance verification
- Manage project budgets, material procurement, and cost control activities
- Review and approve shop drawings, calculations, and equipment selections
- Coordinate testing & balancing (TAB) activities and final commissioning
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements
- Prepare progress reports, as-built drawings, operation & maintenance manuals, and project close-out documentation
- Provide technical support during warranty and defect liability periods
- Perform any other duties within the field of competence as assigned by the Head of Department or delegated authority from time to time.
Education/Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- CRPEP registered engineer
- 5–7 years of experience in independently handling HVAC projects.
