Responsibilities:
- Review project technical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and costing sheets provided by the Estimation and Sales teams.
- Conduct detailed handover meetings with the Estimation and Sales teams to ensure clear understanding of project scope and cost structure.
- Collaborate with the Design team to ensure the project design aligns with the approved budget and scope.
- Develop and submit the project schedule to the client in line with contractual timelines.
- Review and validate design documents; coordinate with the client for approvals, submissions, and any necessary variations.
- Ensure all client comments and feedback are properly incorporated into the project design by coordinating with the Design team.
- Verify that all components issued for procurement align with approved designs and client expectations.
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to manage alternatives and design changes, ensuring all modifications are approved by the client.
- Liaise with the Planning team to ensure accurate scheduling and effective project control measures.
- Work closely with the Production team and external vendors to resolve any production-related issues affecting project delivery.
- Coordinate with the client for scheduling and conducting Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT).
- Ensure that all client comments and observations during inspections are addressed and communicated effectively.
- Manage project delivery logistics and ensure timely delivery in accordance with client expectations.
- Support the client during installation and commissioning, and address any related issues or after-sales service requirements.
- Follow up with clients for payments and ensure timely collection of receivables.
- Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Lead the project team to meet defined milestones and ensure successful execution.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation and records.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in the switchgear industry, with a focus on project planning and execution.
- Strong client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient time management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and maintain professionalism under pressure.
