Position Objective:
To ensure successful on-site delivery of transmission and substation projects within approved scope, schedule, and quality standards. The role provides dedicated engineering oversight for EHV/HV transmission works, strengthens contractor supervision, and supports safe, compliant, and timely execution across multiple project sites.
Job Description & Responsibilities:

Supervise daily electrical construction and installation activities at transmission and substation sites.

Coordinate contractors and subcontractors to ensure proper site execution.

Oversee installation of power transformers, GIS/AIS switchgear, reactors, and other HV equipment.

Monitor underground cable and overhead transmission line works.

Review method statements, technical submittals, and site execution drawings.

Coordinate protection, control, SAS, and auxiliary AC/DC system installations.

Support testing and commissioning activities during energization phases.

Conduct site inspections and verify work progress.

Prepare technical reports and progress updates.

Ensure compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.

Interface with project management and engineering teams to resolve site issues.
Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Engineering, or related field.

Minimum 8+ years of experience in transmission and/or substation projects.

Hands-on exposure to EHV/HV systems and transmission infrastructure.

Experience in installation and commissioning support activities.

Strong understanding of transmission project lifecycle and site execution.

Experience managing contractor coordination at project sites.

Background in utility, grid, or transmission EPC projects required.

Experience handling multiple remote project sites preferred.
-
PMP (or CAPM) certification is an advantage.
-
Saudi Council of Engineers registration preferred.
