Project Estimator

We are looking to add an Estimator to our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in structural steel and/or estimating for construction or industrial projects. This candidate must be organized, motivated, detail-oriented and driven. We are offering a competitive salary commensurate with experience, along with an outstanding benefits package.

Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed quantity takeoffs and detailed cost estimates
• Communicate with trade partners and team members regarding new and current projects
• Prepare detailed estimates, proposals, and quotes
• Ensure timely completion of estimates
• Understand scope of work to bid and contractual requirements
• Manage bid pricing from all vendors and subcontractors
• Prepare cost analysis
• Establish and maintain working relationships with vendors and subcontractors
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• 0-2 years' experience in structural/miscellaneous steel or construction estimating
• Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Applied Science, Civil Engineering or related field
• Able to read and understand construction documents and engineering information and develop cost estimates
• Strong understanding of construction processes and techniques
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel
• Proficient in estimating systems, software, and methodology
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Impeccable problem-solving skill

Pay: $65,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
