Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the overall planning, execution, and delivery of building construction projects (residential, commercial, or high-rise) within scope, time, and budget.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations using Primavera P6 or MS Project.
- Coordinate and communicate with architects, consultants, engineers, contractors, and client representatives to ensure smooth project execution.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Control project costs, review budgets, and ensure adherence to financial forecasts.
- Review and approve drawings, material submittals, and method statements for compliance with project requirements.
- Conduct regular site visits to inspect work progress, quality, and adherence to safety regulations.
- Lead weekly project meetings with stakeholders, presenting progress reports and action plans.
- Manage change orders, variations, and claims, ensuring proper documentation and negotiation.
- Ensure compliance with local authority regulations, building codes, and HSE standards throughout project execution.
- Mentor and guide project teams, fostering collaboration, productivity, and accountability.
- Oversee project close-out activities, including testing, commissioning, handover, and final account reconciliation.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
- 10–12 years of experience in building construction, with at least 5 years in a Project Manager role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale residential, commercial, or high-rise projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methodologies, contract management, and project controls.
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, particularly under pressure.
- Familiarity with FIDIC and other international contract standards is an advantage.
- Knowledge of GCC building codes, authority approval processes, and HSE regulations preferred.
- Valid driving license is mandatory.
