Project Manager

A leading MEP contractor in Dubai is seeking an experienced MEP Projects Manager to oversee MEP drawings, scheduling activities to meet deadlines, and managing onsite operations alongside a team of Engineers. Ideal candidates should have at least 7 years of MEP project delivery experience and strong leadership skills including familiarity with local regulations. The position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to ongoing growth in the UAE market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Planning & Coordination
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules for MEP works.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, and other contractors.
• Plan procurement schedules and resource allocation.
• Team & Subcontractor Management
• Supervise and lead MEP engineers, foremen, and site staff.
• Manage subcontractors and vendors to ensure timely execution of work.
• Conduct regular site meetings and progress reviews.
• Budget & Cost Control
• Monitor project costs and ensure adherence to budget.
• Approve material requisitions and subcontractor bills.
• Identify and manage variations and change orders.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance
• Ensure all MEP installations meet project specifications, local regulations, and international standards.
• Liaise with QA/QC and HSE teams to ensure compliance.
• Review and approve method statements, risk assessments, and technical submittals.
• Reporting & Documentation
• Maintain regular project reports, including progress, risks, and resource updates.
• Ensure accurate documentation of drawings, site changes, and handover procedures.
• Manage project close-out and final client handover.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum [5-10] years of experience in MEP project management, preferably with a contracting company.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficient in project management software.
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• Familiar with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• PMP Certification (preferred but not mandatory).

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Experience with design & build projects is an advantage.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED15,000.00 per month
