We are seeking highly skilled and motivated Emirati Project Management / Engineering professionals to join a leading organization in Abu Dhabi.
The role involves planning, managing, and overseeing the execution of engineering and infrastructure projects in alignment with strategic objectives. You will be responsible for coordinating all project activities, ensuring compliance with Abu Dhabi regulations and standards, and delivering projects within scope, budget, and timelines.
Key Responsibilities Project Management & Delivery
- Lead, plan, and manage engineering projects from initiation to completion.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets using Primavera or MS Project.
- Monitor progress, assess risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure timely delivery.
- Coordinate with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders to achieve project milestones.
- Prepare detailed progress reports, dashboards, and presentations for management review.
Engineering & Technical Oversight
- Review and validate engineering designs, drawings, and specifications using Revit, CAD, 3D Max, or GIS.
- Ensure compliance with Abu Dhabi Building Codes, Estidama, UCDM, USDM, and MDR standards.
- Conduct feasibility studies, market assessments, and technical evaluations for upcoming projects.
- Provide innovative technical solutions to project-related challenges.
Compliance & Quality
- Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and sustainability standards across all project phases.
- Coordinate with authorities to obtain required permits and regulatory approvals.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure quality control for all deliverables.
Stakeholder Engagement & Coordination
- Collaborate with Engineering, Finance, Procurement, and Strategy teams to align on project goals.
- Liaise with vendors, consultants, and government entities for seamless project delivery.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management practices and frameworks.
Qualifications
- Nationality: Emirati (UAE Nationals Only)
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Project Management (Master's preferred)
- Experience: Minimum 7 years in engineering project management, ideally within private, semi-government, or Big 4 environments
- Certifications (Preferred): PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent
- Proficiency in engineering software (Revit, CAD, GIS, 3D Max, etc.)
- Strong command of project management tools (Primavera, MS Project)
- Excellent knowledge of Abu Dhabi regulatory codes and frameworks
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English
- High attention to detail, adaptability, and creativity in problem-solving
- Proven teamwork and stakeholder engagement abilities
