Project Manager

Purpose of the Role

To manage architectural metalwork projects from award to handover, ensuring technical accuracy, timely execution, and satisfied clients.

The Project Manager acts as the main point of contact between ABIYA and the client — driving coordination between design, factory, and site teams to deliver projects safely, on time, and within budget.

Client & Consultant Interface

• Lead all client and consultant meetings, including progress, technical, and coordination meetings.
• Prepare weekly project progress reports for clients.
• Communicate approvals, RFIs, and variations clearly and in writing.
• Build strong client relationships and maintain ABIYA’s professional image at all times.

Team Leadership

• Lead internal coordination between design, factory, and site supervisors.
• Assign clear tasks and deadlines to engineers, supervisors, and foremen.
• Conduct weekly internal reviews to resolve technical or logistics issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and enforce safe site practices.

Documentation & Handover

• Maintain complete project documentation (drawings, approvals, MIRs, WIRs, reports).
• Ensure snag list closure and handover documentation are properly compiled.
• Support accounts for certification, billing, and payment follow-up.
