Maklad Design is looking for an Interior Design & Fit-Out Project Manager to join our dynamic team in Dubai.

If you have 3–5 years of UAE experience in project management, a degree in Architecture or Interior Design, and expertise in FF&E, drawings, and site execution — this role is for you!

Position: Interior Design & Fit-Out Project Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage interior design and fit-out projects from concept to completion.
• Review, coordinate, and approve design drawings, shop drawings, and project documentation.
• Lead the development of interior design concepts, mood boards, and material selections in collaboration with the design team.
• Ensure all interior design elements — including color schemes, layouts, lighting, and materials — align with client vision and project objectives.
• Oversee FF&E selection, procurement, and installation to ensure alignment with design intent.
• Supervise site execution and ensure project quality, safety, and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and manage project schedules, budgets, and procurement plans.
• Handle authority submission drawings and approvals (DDA, DM, DEWA, DCD, etc.).
• Conduct regular site inspections, issue progress reports, and resolve technical/site issues.
• Manage snagging, testing & commissioning, and final handover documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or Interior Design.
• 3–5 years of UAE experience in interior design & fit-out project management.
• Strong knowledge of FF&E procurement, materials, finishes, and joinery.
• Proven experience coordinating design, fit-out, and MEP works.
• Familiarity with authority requirements and approval processes.

Field Skills

• Ability to lead site teams, subcontractors, and suppliers effectively.
• Skilled in project scheduling, BOQ review, and cost control.
• Experience in FF&E coordination and supplier management.
• Strong technical knowledge of interior fit-out processes and site execution.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
• Strong leadership and team coordination abilities.
• High attention to detail and design quality.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines under pressure.
• Proactive, problem-solving approach with initiative.
