Project Manager

Joie De Vivre (JDV), a leading interior design and fit-out company, is seeking an experienced MEP & Fit-Out Project Engineer / Project Manager to oversee the execution of high-end interior projects across the UAE.

The ideal candidate will have strong technical expertise in MEP systems, fit-out works, and site management, combined with excellent coordination and communication skills to manage clients, consultants, and contractors effectively.

Russian-speaking candidates are preferred due to our clientele base. A valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all MEP and fit-out activities from design coordination to project handover.
• Plan, manage, and monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
• Supervise on-site works to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, and subcontracting teams for smooth project execution.
• Liaise with clients (including Russian-speaking clientele) to communicate project progress and address technical or scheduling issues.
• Review MEP drawings, fit-out shop drawings, and ensure compliance with design intent and UAE authority regulations.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors for MEP, joinery, and interior finishes.
• Conduct inspections, testing, and commissioning for MEP and fit-out systems.
• Prepare progress reports, documentation, and closeout submissions.
• Support cost estimation, material selection, and value engineering as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, or Building Services Engineering.
• 5–10 years of hands-on experience in fit-out and MEP project execution (preferably in interior design, retail, hospitality, or high-end residential projects).
• Strong understanding of interior fit-out processes, MEP integration, and local authority requirements (DEWA, DCD, Dubai Municipality, etc.).
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Project, and other project management tools.
• Excellent coordination, leadership, and communication skills.
• Russian-speaking candidates preferred (due to client interaction).
• Valid UAE Driving License – mandatory.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage.
