SENIOR PROJECT MANAGER – OIL & GAS

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager – Oil & Gas to lead and deliver large-scale oil & gas projects at Ras Laffan, ensuring safe, timely, and cost-effective execution in line with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end execution of oil & gas projects, including EPC and brownfield works.
• Develop project execution strategies, schedules, budgets, and resource plans aligned with client requirements.
• Act as the primary interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
• Ensure strict compliance with QP/QatarEnergy standards, HSE regulations, and industry best practices.
• Monitor project progress, cost control, risk management, and contractual performance.
• Review and approve project plans, engineering deliverables, procurement strategies, and construction activities.
• Manage variations, change orders, claims, and contractual correspondence.
• Drive HSE excellence, quality assurance, and operational discipline across all project sites.
• Provide leadership, mentoring, and performance management for Project Managers and site teams.
• Prepare and present executive-level progress reports, forecasts, and risk assessments to senior management.

Candidate who are locally available only will be considered for this role.

Candidate with prior Ras Laffan / QatarEnergy-approved project experience will be highly preferred.
