- Develop the overall project execution plan, schedule, and budget.
- Define scope of work, deliverables, and key milestones.
- Coordinate with consultants, clients, and internal teams to finalize project requirements.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Prepare cost estimates and allocate project funds.
- Monitor expenses against budget and control cost overruns.
- Approve material procurement and subcontractor invoices.
- Prepare regular financial progress reports for management.
- Ensure all works comply with project specifications, standards, and codes.
- Coordinate inspections and approvals with consultants/authorities.
- Implement quality control procedures at every stage of work.
- Review and approve method statements and shop drawings.
- Develop and update the construction schedule (using tools like MS Project / Primavera).
- Track progress against milestones and critical path activities.
- Implement corrective actions to avoid delays.
- Ensure timely completion and handover of project.
- Enforce safety regulations and site safety policies.
- Conduct site inspections and toolbox talks.
- Report and investigate accidents or incidents.
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
- Act as the main point of contact between client, consultant, contractors, and suppliers.
- Organize project meetings and issue meeting minutes.
- Handle client queries, approvals, and correspondence.
- Maintain proper documentation and records of all project activities.
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation plans.
- Resolve technical or site-related issues quickly.
- Adjust resources or strategies to overcome challenges.
- Ensure testing, commissioning, and final inspections are completed.
- Prepare snag lists and oversee rectifications.
- Handover project with as-built drawings, manuals, and certifications.
- Prepare final project report including lessons learned.
- Ensure availability of manpower, equipment, and materials.
- Monitor staff performance and provide guidance or training when needed.
- Resolve conflicts between different teams and ensure smooth workflow.
