Project Manager

This position is accountable for managing High/Medium Voltage Electrical Substations from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.

This includes initiating, planning, executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing of projects/programs. Under Projects Manager supervision this position confirms customer requirements, which includes drawings, specifications, job site requirements, bill of material alignment with specifications & clarify exceptions. Manages complete job process from order project preparation, thru planning, engineering, procurement, manufacturing release, FAT acceptance, product shipment, and products delivery at site.

Job Description:

• Set an execution strategy at the start of the project and implement it throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinates with Supply Chain Management & successfully procures required services and materials for the project from external and internal suppliers.
• Organize & manage the project team and suppliers.
• Monitor their progress in line with project plan (scope, schedule and budget) till completion.
• Insure effective communication within the team for best team coordination and motivation.
• Protect interests within the frame of the contract until the end of contractual obligations.
• Monitor, control & report project execution status, progress & KPIs.
• Ensure full & effective reporting to management (reports, project reviews, risk
• escalation reviews…).
• Alert the management about project events impacting project performance or compliance with governance principles and keep the leadership on the actions related to them.
• Develop customer intimacy (including end-user if applicable), drive all communication with customer.
• Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction throughout the lifecycle of the project to prepare ground for future business.
• Strategic approach to capture additional business for our company directly or not related to the program especially linked to digital and Service as per Company vision.
• System oriented mindset (Power, automation).
• Take full accountability and control over project profitability (sales, margin & cash) including forecasting.
• Ensure timely revenue recognition as per forecast.
• Implement profitability improvement actions.
• Satisfy entity and country expectations on sales, margin and cash collection.
• Ensure project team and suppliers are executing the project in full compliance with company processes, quality instructions and governance principles.
• Take all necessary actions to correct any deviations or quality issues occurring during project execution.
• Working flow coordination with other teams; Sales, Business Development, Technical Affairs, Supply Chain, and Operation & Maintenance.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree of engineering.
• 7-10 Relevant years of experience is required in project management within the electrical energy, power generation, or electromechanical sectors.
• Excellent command of English.
• PMP is a must.
