Job Title: Project Manager – Electrical

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Experience Required: Minimum 8-12 years of relevant experience

Qualification:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (BE/B.Tech)
• Competency Certificate from TAQA (ADDC) - preferred

Job Summary:

The Project Manager – Electrical will be responsible for overseeing and managing all electrical works for utility and infrastructure projects in compliance with ADDC/ADSSC and ADWEA (TAQA) standards. The role involves planning, execution, and delivery of electrical projects within scope, budget, and schedule while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage electrical infrastructure projects from inception to completion.
• Ensure all works adhere to relevant ADDC/ADSSC and TAQA (ADWEA) regulations and specifications.
• Prepare, review, and approve Single Line Diagrams (SLD), schematic drawings, and Bill of Quantities (BOQ).
• Develop project plans, schedules, budgets, and progress reports.
• Manage subcontractors, consultants, and suppliers to meet project goals.
• Coordinate with design and engineering teams to ensure technical accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement effective project control measures.
• Monitor work progress, quality, and safety on-site.
• Report project status to stakeholders and management regularly.
• Ensure timely project delivery within defined quality and cost parameters.

Skills and Competencies:

• Strong project management and leadership skills.
• In-depth understanding of ADDC/ADSSC and TAQA (ADWEA) standards.
• Expertise in electrical design and construction for power distribution and infrastructure works.
• Proficiency in reviewing and preparing SLDs, schematic diagrams, and BOQs.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools and software.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Certifications:

• Competency Certificate from TAQA (ADDC) – preferred
• PMP or equivalent Project Management Certification – preferred
