Project overview
Background: Adding new features (Mobile Banking and Internet Banking) to facilitate the customer banking experience.
Project scope:
Mobile Banking: Manage/monitor all related activities in place for enhancing mobile banking application starting from project execution till project closure, including following up with our external vendors and all related stakeholders
Online Banking: Manage/monitor all related activities in place for enhancing online banking application starting from project execution till project closure, including following up with our external vendors and all related stakeholders
Project planning: Collaborate with internal and vendor teams to develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation
Vendor management: Serve as the primary point of contact between the bank and the external vendor. Oversee vendor performance, ensure adherence to contract terms, and resolve any issues
Risk management: Identify potential project risks, such as delays or integration issues, and develop mitigation strategies
Scope and change management: Manage changes to the project scope, ensuring proper documentation and approval
Budget management: Monitor the project budget and ensure cost-effectiveness
Stakeholder communication: Provide regular updates to all stakeholders, including senior management, on project status, progress, and issues
Quality assurance: Oversee the vendor's QA process and define quality standards for all deliverables
Implementation and deployment: Manage the rollout of enhancements and ensure a smooth transition to live operation
Project documentation: Detailed project plans, requirements specifications, and a work breakdown structure
Progress reports: Weekly or bi-weekly status reports summarizing progress, risks, and next steps
Vendor performance reports: Regular reports assessing the vendor's performance against SLAs and project milestones
Risk and issue log: A continuously updated document to track and manage all project risks
Acceptance criteria: Document outlining the criteria for accepting the vendor's deliverables
Project closure report: A final summary of the project's success and lessons learned.
Requirements
Qualifications and expertise
Experience: 5-7 years of project management experience, preferably within the financial services and digital channels or a related technology sector
Domain knowledge: Experience managing mobile and internet banking projects is essential
Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, vendor management, and risk management skills
Certifications: Relevant certifications such as PMP, Agile, or PRINCE2 are a plus.
