Job Summary:

The Projects Management Director will provide strategic leadership and oversight for all EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects in the Energy and Infrastructure sectors, with a primary focus on High Voltage (HV) Substations and related transmission systems. The role ensures the successful delivery of complex projects in Egypt and the region, in line with company objectives, contractual obligations, and international quality and safety standards.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the complete project lifecycle from tendering and design to execution, testing, and handover.
  • Develop and implement standardized project management methodologies, tools, and KPIs to ensure operational excellence.
  • Oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and cost control for all EPC projects.
  • Ensure compliance with client specifications, technical standards, and HSE requirements.
  • Manage multi-disciplinary project teams including engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning functions.
  • Review and approve project execution plans, risk assessments, and resource allocations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.
  • Lead project reviews, progress reporting, and risk mitigation actions.
  • Provide mentorship and leadership to project managers and ensure continuous development of project management capabilities.
  • Support business development by contributing to project proposals, tenders, and strategic planning.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in project management within the Energy or Infrastructure EPC industry.
  • Proven track record in managing large-scale Energy or Infrastructure projects.
  • Strong understanding of EPC contract structures.
  • PMP or equivalent certification is an asset.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic is required.
