Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and material take-offs for civil and infrastructure projects in line with US construction pricing standards.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and tender documents to ensure accurate project costing.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables effectively.
- Communicate with clients (via calls, emails, or virtual meetings) to explain project proposals, address queries, and convince clients to collaborate with us.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Design, Procurement, and Execution) to align project deliverables.
- Conduct market analysis to stay updated on current US construction material and labor rates.
- Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and cost breakdowns to management and clients.
- Support in business development efforts by identifying potential clients and building long-term relationships.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (Master’s preferred).
- 3–7 years of experience in civil project estimation, preferably for US-based projects.
- Strong knowledge of US construction codes, pricing databases (RSMeans, Bluebeam, PlanSwift, etc.), and estimation practices.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills for dealing with US clients professionally.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings.
- Proficient in MS Excel, AutoCAD, and estimation software.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience working in remote or offshore estimation environments is a plus.
