Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Trainee Planning Engineer – Civil to join our estimation team. The ideal candidate should have at least 6 months of hands-on experience in U.S. construction estimation and a solid understanding of civil drawings, quantity takeoffs, and cost analysis. The role involves assisting senior estimators in preparing accurate and timely estimates for U.S.-based commercial, residential, and infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in quantity take-offs for civil works including concrete, masonry, site work, and structural components using estimation software.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and scope documents.
- Prepare and maintain BOQs (Bill of Quantities) as per project requirements.
- Support senior estimators in cost estimation, rate analysis, and bid preparation.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in estimates.
- Work with Bluebeam, Planswift, OST, or similar estimation tools for take-offs and measurements.
- Maintain and organize project estimation files and documentation.
- Learn and adhere to company estimation standards and procedures.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong understanding of civil engineering concepts and construction materials.
- Experience with estimation software (Planswift, Bluebeam, OST, etc.) preferred.
- Basic knowledge of U.S. construction standards and units of measurement.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Excel, and MS Office Suite.
- Good analytical, mathematical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to work night shift (4:00 PM – 1:00 AM) aligned with U.S. time zones.
Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
Preferred Candidates:
- Residents of Rawalpindi / Islamabad will be given preference.
