Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage a team of estimators supporting GC (General Contractor) projects in the US market.
 - Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
 - Train and mentor junior estimators on estimation tools, US standards, and project workflows.
 
Estimation & Costing
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs, cost estimates, and bid packages for design-bid-build and design-build projects.
 - Review drawings, specifications, and bid documents to identify scope, risks, and opportunities.
 - Develop cost models and budgets for conceptual, schematic, and detailed design stages.
 - Evaluate subcontractor and vendor quotations for completeness and compliance.
 - Perform value engineering analyses to propose cost-effective alternatives.
 
Collaboration & Communication
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, architects, and clients during preconstruction phases.
 - Coordinate with US-based estimation teams and project managers for alignment on pricing and methodology.
 - Support business development by providing cost insights and contributing to bid strategy.
 
Process & Quality Control
- Ensure estimation accuracy, consistency, and compliance with company and client standards.
 - Implement and optimize estimation tools (e.g., Bluebeam, On-Screen Takeoff, RSMeans, PlanSwift, CostX, or similar).
 - Maintain an updated cost database, productivity rates, and historical cost records.
 
Qualifications & Skills:
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
 - 3–8 years of experience in estimation, with at least 1.5 years in a team lead or senior role.
 - Proven experience in estimating commercial, residential, institutional, or industrial construction projects for the US market (mandatory).
 
Technical Skills
- Proficient in estimation software such as Bluebeam, , PlanSwift or related.
 - Strong understanding of CSI divisions, construction assemblies, and trade-level cost structures.
 - Excellent knowledge of US building codes, standards, and construction practices.
 - Advanced Excel skills and experience with BIM-based estimation (Revit, Navisworks) preferred.
 
Soft Skills
- Strong analytical and numerical abilities with attention to detail.
 - Excellent leadership, communication, and client coordination skills.
 - Ability to manage multiple bids under tight deadlines.
 - Proactive, organized, and collaborative mindset.
