Your Impactful Goals will include:
Leading the delivery of Cloud Core Modernization project for a Telco Network. The role demands a dynamic leader with expertise in large-scale infrastructure transformation, Telco migrations, and network modernization along with handling financials, reporting & managing progress of the project according to Modernization strategy.
Your Typical Day will look like:
- Developing strategies and roadmaps for core network infrastructure and VNF/CNF deployment ensuring alignment with technical & business objectives
- Lead the technical delivery of a multi-region data centre and core transformation project
- Manage end-to-end planning and execution of large-scale migrations.
- Coordinate and direct geographically distributed technical teams across various regions.
- Define delivery plans, monitor progress, and ensure Project milestones are met.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure seamless migrations.
- Drive operational excellence and continuous improvement within the delivery process.
- Ensure the timely forecast and capitalization of the project(s) keeping in view the effective forecasting, cost control and engagement of procurement process.
- Scheduling critical activities like rollout, expansions and upgrades in core networks along with ensuring proper test plans and timelines.
- Stakeholder and Vendor Management
- Review, coordinate and manage installation, commissioning and implementation activities procured from vendors or third parties

What we're looking for:
Education:
Bachelors / Masters' in Engineering / Electronics / Telecom / Computer or equivalent. Knowledge and experience of working in agile frameworks, SAFe, PMP, MSP or Prince2 are preferable.
Work Experience
- Minimum Working experience of 8-10 years in Telco Cloud and Core Network Planning, Design, Implementation, Operations & Optimization
- Experience in latest Tech e.g., 5G, VoLTE, VoWiFi, etc.
- Work Experience on Huawei & multi-vendor Platforms
- Experience in SDN/Cloud based deployments
- Any certification e.g., Linux, HCIP, Oracle etc.
Functional Skills/Knowledge Areas:
- Good Understanding of Core and Cloud Network Architecture and integrations specially 5G/EPC/IMS Core, IP Core, SDN, Common core etc
- Evolving the core network architecture and design to meet scalability, reliability, and performance requirements, considering emerging technologies
- Proven experience managing large-scale infrastructure Projects, ideally in the Telecom or IT industry similar complex environments.
- Strong technical understanding of data centre technologies, including Virtualization, cloud-based solutions etc.
- Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and multi-region delivery.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strong background in project planning, risk management, and governance.
- Experience in application-centric migration strategies and network transformation projects.
- Managing vendor relationships to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and timely delivery
- Ensuring compliance with industry standards, and internal policies related to data privacy, network security, and service quality in the project
- Planning and overseeing changes to the core network environment, including upgrades, expansions, and migrations, to minimize disruptions and maintain service continuity
- Collaborating with other departments and to align core network initiatives with overall business objectives and priorities
- Identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements, cost optimization, and innovation in core network operations through process enhancements, automation, and adoption of best practices
- Reporting on core network projects, and initiatives to senior management, stakeholders, and regulatory authorities, communicating technical concepts in a clear & concise manner
- Ensure resources allocation and utilization
- Ensure proper handover to operations before project go-live
- Basic knowledge and command line experience of Linux and opensource applications.
- Handling Core network BOQs, quotations and solution verification with concerned vendors till handover to the operations team.
- Pro-active approach towards identification & rectification of challenging area in project
- Decision making keeping in view both short term as well as long term company interests in mind.
- Positive attitude towards understanding of company policies and management demands.
- Cooperate actively with IT, Commercial and suppliers in carrying out new service and platform introduction, implementation and integration.
- Willing to adapt to stringent timelines to meet objectives.
- Good knowledge in network management systems and security platform.
- Able to handle pressure and difficult situation and work under time constraints.
- Good attitude, logical thinking ability
- Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal).
