IN THIS ROLE YOU WILL

Be responsible to develop policies, SOPs for data center operations, maintenance & security.

Oversee third-party support teams responsible for monitoring, managing, and supporting Data Center infrastructure within area of technical subject matter expertise.

Lead and participate in engagements that have a strong business & technology focus.

Ensure operational processes, and data center is maintained in accordance with international standards and leading practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop policies, SOPs for data center operations, maintenance & security. Design improvements in the existing systems and procedures. Ensure operational processes, and data center is maintained in accordance with international standards and leading practices. Ensure compliance with budgets, targets, and deadlines through the implementation of cost-efficient controls and solutions.
• Track third-party support team performance towards contractual obligations and metrics, and prioritize support efforts across the organization. Lead and participate in engagements that have a strong business & technology focus. Manage incident resolution within the environment, facilitating collaboration among other infrastructure and business service support teams as required.
• Serve as an escalation point from third party support teams for major incidents, and escalate to the appropriate stakeholders as required. Ensure root cause analysis, performed in accordance with policies. Ensure that datacenter management tools are fully integrated with service management system.
• Lead datacenter capacity planning and consolidation efforts in areas of technical subject matter expertise. Collaborate with enterprise architecture to evaluate and recommend tools and processes that enhance the stability and functionality of the server environment, ensuring that any new technologies are compatible with existing architecture and standards.
• Define and establish data center service definitions.
• Reduce OPEX thru effective utilization of assets OPEX Budget capitalization as per PO’s issued. Maintain Service availability& improved service uptime Develop a framework for data center technology operations to improve efficiency. Completion of planned initiatives of Data Center Operations. Develop corporate strategy for the company, and align with company’s functional Stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with budgets, targets, and deadlines through the implementation of cost-efficient controls. Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards

Qualification & Experience:

• B.E in Electrical Engineering, MS (Computer Science), Certifications: Project Management, ATD, CTDC, CDCP. CDCS.
• Proven experience in Project Management & Data Center Design in a senior management position ideally in design and planning role of data centers.
