Position Summary:

Responsible for overall project design and scheduling, resource allocation, project accounting, and control, while providing technical direction and ensuring compliance with quality standards. The construction project manager responsibilities span a broad spectrum, covering all the areas of project management.

General Duties:

  • Project organization and administration; responsible for all engineering, accounting, cost control, quality assurance, and project closeout on assigned projects
  • To know the plans, specifications, estimate, cost reports and the contract for all assigned projects
  • Determine the overall construction schedule and preparation of the detailed CPM schedule
  • Supervise all subcontract work: procurement, coordination, performance, and final payments
  • Establish and maintain satisfactory relations with the Owner and Architect: obtain approvals, change orders, extra work orders, requisitions and acceptance of work
  • Review and approve all requisitions, purchase orders, and cost codes to exercise control over all expenditures
  • Review subcontractor’s field supervisory personnel and forces for adequacy to meet schedule requirements and ensure subcontractor compliance
  • Hold weekly meetings with subcontractors, Owner and Architect on all assigned jobs
  • Attend stakeholder appropriate meetings, i.e. project meetings, owner’s meetings, etc

Basic Qualifications:

B.A. / B.S. Civil Engineer or related degree with a minimum of 5-10 years of experience in construction industry. *Valid Driver’s License required.

Preferred Qualifications:

Construction Experience In Healthcare Is Preferred.
