Project Manager - Electrical (Substation / Power Projects)

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery of substation and power projects in line with contractual obligations and company standards.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation, ensuring cost control and timely delivery.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Manage project documentation, reporting, and contractual correspondence with clients, consultants, and authorities.
• Ensure compliance with local authority requirements, utility regulations, and project specifications.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain strong working relationships and resolve issues proactively.
• Lead project risk assessment, mitigation planning, and problem-solving initiatives.
• Monitor HSE and QA/QC standards to ensure safe and compliant project execution.
• Provide leadership and direction to project teams, mentoring staff and fostering a culture of accountability and performance.
• Conduct progress reviews, prepare detailed project reports, and present updates to senior management.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (Master’s degree preferred).
• 10–15 years of progressive experience in EPC project management, with at least 5 years in managing substation or power transmission projects in the UAE/GCC.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering high-voltage substation (132kV/220kV/400kV) or power infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of electrical design, protection, control, and commissioning requirements.
• Excellent knowledge of UAE regulations, utility authority procedures, and permit/NOC processes.
• Proficiency in project management tools (Primavera P6/MS Project) and MS Office applications.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
• PMP/Prince2 or similar project management certification is an advantage.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic proficiency is an added benefit.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED25,000.00 - AED30,000.00 per month
