We are seeking a highly organized Project Manager – Finance to manage and coordinate financial tasks for our US-based clients. This role will involve direct communication with clients, ensuring the timely delivery of bookkeeping and accounting services, and managing related project activities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent coordination skills, and fluency in English to effectively communicate and collaborate with clients.
Key Responsibilities
Client Communication & Coordination
- Serve as the primary point of contact for US clients regarding bookkeeping and accounting matters.
- Understand client requirements, clearly communicate expectations, and ensure that internal teams align with client needs.
- Schedule and attend client meetings, prepare agendas, take detailed notes, and follow up on action items.
- Provide regular updates and timely responses to client inquiries, ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Maintain strong professional relationships with clients, addressing any concerns or challenges promptly.
Project Management & Coordination
- Manage financial projects from start to finish, ensuring all deliverables are completed within deadlines and scope.
- Develop detailed project plans, monitor progress, and track project milestones.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of tasks and timely delivery.
- Identify potential risks or issues early on and take proactive steps to resolve them.
- Maintain project documentation, trackers, and dashboards to keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing competing priorities effectively.
Bookkeeping & Accounting Tasks
- Oversee and assist with routine bookkeeping tasks, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger entries, bank reconciliations, and expense tracking.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare accurate financial reports and documentation for internal review or client delivery.
- Work with accountants to ensure timely tax filings and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial data before presenting it to clients.
Quality Assurance & Process Improvement
- Review financial reports and documents for accuracy before sharing with clients.
- Continuously assess and improve internal processes to enhance efficiency and service quality.
- Assist in the implementation of new tools, systems, and workflows to streamline operations.
Qualifications & Skills
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, (ACCA/CA preferred).
- 3 - 5 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or project coordination in US market.
- Strong project management skills with experience coordinating multiple tasks or projects.
- Exceptional English communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with US-based clients.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, Tally, or similar).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage deadlines and work under pressure.
Must Have:
- Experience working in a client-facing finance role, preferably with US clients.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and US-based accounting practices.
- Prior experience with project management tools
