Project Manager-III
Karachi, Pakistan
- Work with the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule
- Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines
- Lead project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are met
- Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients
- Manage project budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources efficiently
- Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
- Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with stakeholder expectations
- Lead regular project meetings, including preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, and documenting action items
- Provide clear direction and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
- Monitor project progress and performance, and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders
- Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other external partners
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
- Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in project management

In-depth knowledge of release management methodologies and industry best practices
- Masters project management / MBA-MIS or bachelor's degree in computer science/ software engineering/ project management /computer engineering from HEC recognized University
- 5 to 6 years in managing IT and software development projects
- Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Proficiency in project management software and tools
- Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively
- Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools
- PMP or other project management certification will be preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
- Experience using Click UP/ JIRA / ProjectManager.com will be preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understanding of business processes of trade, logistics, supply chain, E-commerce, transport will be an added advantage
