Project Manager-III

Karachi, Pakistan

  • Work with the Digital Transformation Office (DTO) to prioritize, plan, and execute the development schedule
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, defining project objectives, scope, deliverables, and timelines
  • Lead project teams, assign tasks, and monitor progress to ensure project milestones are met
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and clients
  • Manage project budgets, track expenses, and allocate resources efficiently
  • Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project success
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and align with stakeholder expectations
  • Lead regular project meetings, including preparing agendas, facilitating discussions, and documenting action items
  • Provide clear direction and guidance to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive environment
  • Monitor project progress and performance, and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track
  • Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and stakeholders
  • Foster positive relationships with clients, vendors, and other external partners
  • Conduct post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging trends in project management
  • In-depth knowledge of release management methodologies and industry best practices

Requirements

  • Masters project management / MBA-MIS or bachelor's degree in computer science/ software engineering/ project management /computer engineering from HEC recognized University
  • 5 to 6 years in managing IT and software development projects
  • Proven track record of successfully managing projects from initiation to completion
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools
  • Ability to analyze data, make informed decisions, and solve problems effectively
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools
  • PMP or other project management certification will be preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Experience using Click UP/ JIRA / ProjectManager.com will be preferred
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Understanding of business processes of trade, logistics, supply chain, E-commerce, transport will be an added advantage
