Project Manager - KSA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Project Manager to lead and manage High Voltage (EHV) projects across Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be approved by the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and possess a strong background in managing EPC or turnkey substation projects in line with SEC standards.

The Project Manager will be responsible for end-to-end execution of projects including planning, resource allocation, budgeting, progress monitoring, stakeholder coordination, and ensuring timely delivery in compliance with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain comprehensive project execution plans
• Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines in coordination with SEC and internal stakeholders.
• Plan project resources, including manpower, materials, and equipment
• Lead and supervise all phases of substation construction and commissioning
• Manage engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure alignment with the project plan.
• Monitor project progress using tools like Primavera/MS Project and issue regular status reports.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation plans.
• Act as the main point of contact for SEC and other regulatory authorities.
• Participate in progress meetings, technical reviews, and inspections.
• Ensure compliance with all contractual, regulatory, and client requirements.
• Manage project budgets and control expenditures.
• Track material costs, subcontractor performance, and variation orders.
• Prepare and submit invoices and payment applications.
• Ensure that all construction activities meet quality standards and safety regulations.
• Oversee testing, commissioning, and handover procedures.
• Prepare final project documentation including as-built drawings, O&M manuals, and close-out reports.
• Conduct post-project evaluation and lessons learned.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• Minimum 15 years of experience in energy projects [ HV substation - OHTL-UGC ]
• Solid understanding of SEC technical specifications, quality standards, and processes
• SEC-approved Project Manager (must provide SEC reference or approval letter)
• Valid transferable Iqama or KSA work visa
• Proven track record in managing full project lifecycles in Saudi Arabia
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• PMP or equivalent project management certification is an advantage
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a plus
