About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to lead and oversee commercial construction projects from award through completion. This is a field-driven role requiring strong leadership, financial oversight, and coordination with internal teams, subcontractors, and general contractors.
The ideal candidate has a background in plumbing or mechanical systems (HVAC) and is comfortable managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Manage multiple mechanical construction projects from kickoff through closeout

Lead and direct project engineers, superintendents, and field crews

Conduct regular job site visits to monitor progress, safety, and quality

Track and manage project budgets, costs, and profitability

Forecast and manage manpower needs across active and upcoming projects

Procure materials and equipment while ensuring cost efficiency and timely delivery

Review and manage purchase orders, materials, and vendor performance

Coordinate with general contractors and attend project meetings

Ensure all change orders are documented and approved prior to execution

Monitor project schedules and adjust resources to meet deadlines

Enforce safety standards, PPE compliance, and job site organization

Provide consistent project updates to leadership
This role operates in both office and field environments and requires regular job site visits.

Salary: $80,000 – $105,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Requirements:
Qualifications

3+ years of experience in Mechanical Project Management
- Plumbing background preferred; HVAC experience considered
- 3+ years of supervisory or leadership experience in construction

Strong understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and installation processes

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and specifications

Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and manpower planning

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and Bluebeam

Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
