Project Manager – Payments & Product Enablement (Contract Role)
We are seeking an experienced contractor to lead the technical and commercial enablement of Client Direct products (e.g., Alias Directory, AFT – Account Funding Transaction, OCT – Original Credit Transaction), while also managing the sales acceleration program.
The ideal candidate will bring strong project management expertise, a solid understanding of payment products and API-based integrations, and the ability to drive end-to-end commercial and technical initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Project Management & Stakeholder Engagement

Prepare and document Business Requirement Documents (BRD) for product enablement.

Manage internal documentation and approval processes (NPDD, compliance, etc.).

Lead cross-functional risk assessments across Risk, Fraud, IT, Operations, AML, and Compliance.

Drive end-to-end project management, ensuring timelines, dependencies, and deliverables are tracked.

Coordinate with internal stakeholders and client teams to ensure alignment.

Maintain project dashboards, reports, and issue logs.
B. Technical & Product Enablement:

Lead technical enablement of Client Direct capabilities (Alias, AFT, OCT).

Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and solution architects on API integrations and data flows.

Review functional and solution design documents.

Support developer portal setup, API provisioning, and configuration.

Define customer journeys and operational workflows.
-
Oversee SIT/UAT testing and validation prior to go-live.
C. Go-to-Market & Commercial Launch:

Lead commercial launch planning, including internal communication and training

Develop sales enablement materials (FAQs, guides, customer content)

Ensure alignment between technical readiness and business rollout

Track adoption metrics and transaction performance post-launch
D. Sales Acceleration Program (PMO):

Design and execute annual campaign strategies based on customer insights.

Build business cases, ROI projections, and campaign plans.

Manage campaign execution and ensure compliance.

Track performance and generate post-campaign insights and optimization plans.

Continuously improve program effectiveness through data-driven decisions.
Qualifications & Experience

Proven experience in payments, fintech, banking, or card schemes.

Hands-on experience delivering technical implementations (end-to-end).
-
Exposure to remittance or real-time payments is an advantage.

Experience in marketing campaigns or sales enablement is preferred.
Key Requirements
