JOB SUMMARY:
A growing private property developer based in Karachi is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a high-rise residential and mixed-use tower.

The ideal candidate brings atleast 10 to 15 years of experience managing large-scale property and infrastructure projects, including high-rises towers, and industrial developments. The role involves in end-to-end project leadership, from design coordination, budgeting, and procurement to execution, quality control, and final handover while ensuring strict adherence to timelines, budgets, and safety standards.

Expertise in civil engineering, SBCA compliance, QA/QC, construction methods, and FIDIC contracts is essential, along with a proven record of leading multidisciplinary teams and delivering projects to international quality and safety benchmarks.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Oversee and manage the full construction lifecycle of a high-rise (G+43 floors) property development project from planning through completion.
  • Lead project handover procedures, snagging, documentation, and final certifications in coordination with consultants and authorities.
  • Prepare, review, and monitor project schedules, cost estimates, and work progress using project management tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
  • Coordinate between architects, consultants, MEP, structural, and design teams to ensure project deliverables align with approved specifications and timelines.
  • Ensure strict QA/QC implementation in line with FIDIC, ASTM, and ISO standards through continuous inspections and reporting systems.
  • Develop and enforce HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) protocols to maintain a zero-incident work culture on site.
  • Lead contractor performance reviews, variation claims, and progress certifications, ensuring contractual compliance and dispute-free closures.
  • Drive value engineering initiatives to optimize material use, design efficiency, and cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
  • Ensure compliance with SBCA Regulations, including building approvals, inspections, and occupancy certifications.
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports, cost forecasts, and risk assessments to senior management and project stakeholders.
  • Manage and mentor site teams, subcontractors, and engineers to ensure productivity, quality, and timely execution.
  • Supervise procurement and logistics for key materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery to prevent project delays.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Qualification:

  • B.E. Civil Engineering (Required),
  • M.Sc. / MBA in Project Management, Construction, or Environmental Sciences (Preferred)
  • PMP®, PMI-RMP®, or relevant Project Management Certifications (Highly Desirable)

Experience:

  • Minimum 10 to 15 years of relevant experience, with at least 5 to 7 years in senior project leadership roles.
  • Proven record in managing high-rise residential or mixed-use towers (minimum 30+ floors).
  • Experience with EPC, Design-Build, or Joint Venture delivery models.
  • Strong working knowledge of FIDIC contracts, QA/QC procedures, and HSE compliance frameworks.
  • Hands-on experience in coordinating with consultants, contractors, and regulatory bodies (SBCA, KE, SSGC, DHA, CBC, etc.).

Technical Proficiency:

  • Primavera P6, MS Project, AutoCAD, and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of budget control, progress billing, and ERP-based project monitoring systems
  • Knowledge of international and local building codes, quality standards, and construction materials.
